Yago, valiéndose de la confianza de Otelo que bien supo ganar, teje una trama amorosa que hará aparecer a Desdémona como culpable de traición. Los hechos se despliegan luego en torno a esta estrategia urdida por Yago d ela cual terminará siendo su víctima. La mentira se cobrará numerosas vidas hasta el momento que ésta es develada. Un pañuelo se transforma en la pieza clave que permitirá pesquisar el origen de la mentira urdida por Yago pero, una vez descubierta, será ya demasiado tarde.
