Rebelión en la granja es una fábula satírica, el tema principal de la obra es el abuso de poder y cómo éste corrompe a los que lo poseen, llevándolos a la avaricia, la discriminación y la traición. Los protagonistas de esta obra son los cerdos de una granja que deciden hacer una rebelión para tomar el poder, formar su propio gobierno y usarlo para manipular y engañar a los otros animales, para afianzar su dominio sobre ellos convirtiéndose en una tiranía brutal.
