With this collection of meditations and prayers, the authors hope to provide a pathway to a deeper experience of prayer--an experience that flows organically from a deeper grasp of what Scripture teaches on the form, content, and practice of prayer. Herman Melville, the author of the novel Moby Dick, observed that "to produce a mighty book, you must choose a mighty theme." The mighty theme of Jesus' life was prayer.
