A Study in Creative History (1932) aims to present the main movements of thought as they emerge clearly into history. The book offers the view that the main developments prior to 500 B.C. were the emergence of the Prophetic school in Israel, of Mazdaism in Persia, of Brahmanism, Buddhism in India and Confucianism in China.
