First published in 1938, Comparative Religion presents a comparative study of the history of religion intended primarily as a textbook for students, with references and full bibliography of relative literature. It is also designed to give the general reader an account of religious thought and practice in the light of recent research from rudimentary beginnings, through the great religions of antiquity (Egypt, Babylonia, Greece, Rome) to the higher living religions of today (Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Judaism and Christianity). This is an interesting historical reference work for students of comparative religion.
