First Published in 1998. This is Volume VIII in the Sociology of Behaviour and Psychology series. This book is a description of some of the things which happen in small groups of a particular kind. This kind of group I have called a 'non-directive' training group. This is a personal account of the analysis of the learning process taking place in these type of groups that are being used more widely in the initial or in-service training of social workers, probation officers, prison officers and teachers.
