Not that he has anything against women. On the contrary, he appreciates women, especially women who look like Tess O'Connor. He just doesn't want one on his squad. But, as the arsonist gets more daring and the fires more dangerous, Ray has to admit that Tess is exactly what her résumé said she was—an outstanding firefighter.
